Dura-Vent Direct Vent Fireplace 8 Inch Attic Insulation Shield is used for installations that pass through an attic to prevent insulation and debris from accumulating near the vent. Dura-Vent shields provide 1" clearance to combustibles. It has laser – welded inner and outer seams. It has no required gaskets or sealants to achieve leak resistant connections.
