Dura-Vent Pellet Vent Fireplace 3 Inch Attic Insulation Shield is required for installations that pass through an attic to prevent insulation and debris from accumulating near the vent. It Provides 1" clearance to combustibles. Dura-Vent shield is a venting system designed for stoves and inserts that use wood pellets and oil fuel. Dura-Vent attic insulation shield is also built to vent corn and other bio fuel products. It has no required gaskets or sealants to achieve leak-resistant connections.
