Dura-Vent Pellet Vent Fireplace 3 Inch Wall Thimble - 3 Inch Clearance is used to provide required 3" clearance to combustibles. The Wall Thimble fits between standard wall studs and comes with an insulation ring to cut drafts where the pipe slips through the thimble. Dura-Vent wall thimble is a venting system designed for stoves and inserts that use wood pellets and oil fuel. Dura-Vent wall thimble cap is also built to vent corn and other bio fuel products. It has no required gaskets or sealants to achieve leak-resistant connections.
