If you look on your current pool pump label it will most likely say the brand name of the pump (i.e. "Hayward) and somewhere on there it will say "AO Smith". AO Smith makes the motors and sells them to Hayward and most other popular pumps, Hayward just puts their sticker on it.
Important: Total output (HP x service factor ) of replacement motor must equal or exceed motor being replaced.

A.O. Smith Centurion replacement motor replaces the American Products Power Pump, Purex Aquatron, Sta-Rite Dura Glas, Triton Challenger pump.

A.O. Smith was recently acquired by Century Electric Motors.You can expect the same great quality motors from Century Electric. Motors are now labeled as Century Electric formerly A.O. Smith.
